The Role

We're looking for an experienced Civil Litigation Paralegal to support our attorneys through all phases of litigation, from case workup through trial. This role is hands-on: you'll manage discovery, prepare witnesses and exhibits, and sit at counsel table when we go to trial. The right candidate has done this before — significant trial experience is a must — and brings sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to work sensitively with clients who have experienced serious harm. This role will work primarily on personal injury and sexual assault cases.

What You'll Do

• Manage all phases of discovery, including document collection, review, and production
• Draft and respond to written discovery, deposition notices, and subpoenas
• Prepare trial notebooks, exhibit lists, witness files, and demonstratives
• Provide in-courtroom trial support, including exhibit management and witness coordination
• Coordinate with experts, court reporters, and opposing counsel on scheduling and logistics
• Maintain case files and deadlines in the firm's case management system
• Communicate with clients with professionalism, empathy, and discretion

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of civil litigation paralegal experience, with significant trial experience (trial preparation and in-courtroom support)
• Personal injury litigation experience required; experience with sexual assault or sexual abuse litigation strongly preferred
• Proficiency with e-discovery platforms (DISCO, Relativity, Everlaw, Nextpoint, Logikcull, or Casepoint)
• Strong command of federal and Colorado rules of civil procedure and discovery
• Exceptional organization and attention to detail under deadline pressure
• Trauma-informed approach to client communication; ability to handle sensitive subject matter with care and confidentiality
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks independently
• Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary range of $35-48/hr, based on experience and skillset
