Associate Attorney

Associate Attorney

Denver, CO

The Role

This is a case management–focused attorney position with real litigation work built in. You'll own a large docket from case evaluation through discovery, depositions, and trial prep — and the key is organization. Hundreds of clients across multiple states means deadlines, SOL tracking, and filings that can't slip. You'll work closely with Litigation Attorneys, Paralegals, Legal Assistants, and Co-Counsel to keep everything moving. If you're the kind of attorney who color-codes their calendar and actually enjoys building a better process, this role was written for you.

What you'll Do

  • Manage a large, high-volume docket of cases across multiple states
  • Evaluate the merits of potential cases and conduct legal research to support them
  • Handle document review and draft and respond to discovery
  • Defend and take depositions, including expert depositions
  • Prepare expert reports and assist with trial preparation
  • Communicate directly with clients about their cases
  • Correspond with opposing counsel and clients to keep the legal process moving
  • Track and manage statute of limitations (SOL) analysis across your docket
  • Handle e-filings in state and federal courts
  • Work closely with the litigation team to strategize on case approach, priorities, and next steps
  • Collaborate with paralegals and legal assistants, providing direction and reviewing their work
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

  • Licensed attorney in good standing (Colorado license or ability to waive in preferred)
  • Exceptional organizational skills — you'll be juggling a lot, and details matter here
  • Comfort managing a high volume of clients and files without losing the human element
  • Strong written and verbal communication, especially with clients who are anxious about their cases
  • Project management experience is a plus — formal or informal, we care that you know how to move work through a pipeline
  • Mass tort or personal injury experience is a plus, but we'll teach the right person the substance if they bring the systems

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range of $100,000 – $150,000, with significant opportunity for bonus based on experience and skillset.
  • Robust bonus structure, rewarding your contributions and case results.
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and more.
  • Professional growth opportunities within a supportive team environment.
  • Flexible, business-casual workplace that values work-life balance.
  • Hybrid position with flexibility for remote work; remote candidates must be available to travel as required
  • 12 paid holidays and Unlimited PTO
