Philips CPAP
On June 21, 2021 Philips Respironics voluntarily recalled numerous CPAP and BiPAP sleep apnea ventilators. The machines that were recalled were found to emit defective sound abatement foam. This foam contains toxic particles or gases that went directly into the user's airway. This can cause serious health injuries which includes death.
Injuries and Health Risks
The potential health risks and injuries can be life-threatening and include:
- Irritation (skin, eye, nose, respiratory tract)

- Asthma
- Nausea/Vomiting
