Less than one percent of all lawyers in the United States qualify for the Trial Lawyer Board of Regents' prestigious Litigator Awards, which objectively identify the best trial lawyers of the year. Martindale-Hubbell Peer Reviewed AV Preeminent Rating
The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Reviewed Ratings are an objective and internationally trusted indicator of an attorney's high ethical standards and professional ability. To earn a peer rating, attorneys must be individually evaluated by other lawyers after having spent at least several years in the practice of law.
Attorneys are individually assessed for their legal knowledge, analytical capabilities, professional judgment, communicativeness, and legal experience. The scores in each of these areas are combined in order to reach one of the following Martindale-Hubbell Peer Reviewed certification marks:
- AV Preeminent (4.5 – 5.0) — Defined as “a significant rating accomplishment” and “a testament to the fact that a lawyer's peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence.”
- BV Distinguished (3.0 – 4.4) — A certification of excellent, widely respected achievement.
- Rated (1.0 – 2.9) — Certification that a lawyer “has met the very high criteria of General Ethical Standing.”

American Association for Justice
Formerly known as the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA), the American Association for Justice (AAJ) is open to licensed lawyers who are primarily engaged in civil litigation for plaintiffs (or for defendants accused in criminal proceedings). As a national mass tort law firm, we join the AAJ in its dedication to attorney accountability and excellence in advocacy for clients.
AAJ Leaders Forum
The Leaders Forum is a distinguished subsection of the AAJ above, intended as “the next level” of commitment to — and support of — the civil justice system. As a Leaders Forum member firm, Andrus Wagstaff, PC helps to bring issues of national importance to the attention of the public and the U.S. Congress. Many of these issues are relevant to our work as a national mass tort law firm, including medical negligence, product liability and limitations on justice for catastrophic personal injury.
National Association of Women Lawyers
The National Association of Women Lawyers (NAWL) is a national and voluntary professional organization devoted to promoting the interests and progress of women lawyers and the legal rights of women everywhere. National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys
After a rigorous and highly selective process, the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys selects only ten attorneys from each state to award with its “TOP 10” award. Less than one percent of all lawyers in the United States qualify for the award. Those who are ultimately selected have demonstrated “an extraordinary amount of knowledge, skill, experience, expertise and success in their practice of Personal Injury.”
