About Us

Leadership. Integrity. Impact.

At Wagstaff Law Firm, we don't measure success by the number of cases we file, we measure it by the legacy we leave behind.

Founded by nationally recognized trial attorney Aimee Wagstaff, our firm has helped shape some of the most consequential mass tort and product liability litigations in U.S. history. From securing billions in pharmaceutical and medical device settlements to leading precedent-setting trials against corporate giants, we've earned a reputation for taking on the toughest cases, and winning.

Today, we're building on that legacy in a new direction.

We are proud to be at the forefront of a legal and cultural reckoning around institutional sexual abuse. Our current work focuses on representing survivors in some of the most complex, emotionally charged, and high-profile cases in the country—often involving school districts, religious institutions, youth organizations, and other systems that failed to protect children and teens.

This isn't just legal work. It's human work. And it requires a different kind of law firm.

A National Leader in Complex Litigation

Wagstaff Law Firm is built on leadership, both in our cases and in the legal community in general.

Our attorneys have served in court-appointed leadership roles in more than a dozen multidistrict litigations (MDLs) and Judicial Council Coordinated Proceedings (JCCPs). Most notably, founding partner Aimee Wagstaff served as Lead Trial Counsel in Hardeman v. Monsanto, securing a unanimous $80.2 million verdict that catalyzed one of the largest mass tort settlements in history: over $11 billion for plaintiffs harmed by Roundup.

We bring that same tenacity, coordination, and trial readiness to our work on behalf of sexual abuse survivors, ensuring every case is positioned both for settlement and the possibility of trial.

A Strategic Partner for Plaintiffs' Firms Nationwide

Our work is often done in collaboration with other firms by co-counseling on complex matters, coordinating national litigation strategy, or taking the lead when trial becomes inevitable.

Our successful track record helps add value through our knowledge and skill with highly complex legal matters. Whether we're consulting on litigation themes, preparing experts, handling bellwether discovery, or trying a case before a jury, we bring a level of experience, credibility, and strategic insight that's been earned over decades of high-stakes trial work.

Purpose-Driven Advocacy for Survivors

Sexual abuse cases demand more than legal knowledge, they demand trauma-informed advocacy, cultural sensitivity, and institutional accountability.

Our approach is deeply survivor-centered. We work closely with social workers, advocates, and survivor support networks to ensure every case is handled with the discretion, care, and dignity it deserves.

And while we are selective in the matters we pursue, we are relentless once we commit.

A Team Built for Impact

Our attorneys are known for their results, but also for their values. Our leadership includes:

Aimee H. Wagstaff, one of the most effective trial lawyers in the country, with leadership roles in major MDLs and a reputation for taking on powerful institutions.

Kathryn M. Forgie, a nationally recognized mass tort expert with decades of experience building winning expert teams and securing landmark verdicts against major pharmaceutical and agrochemical companies.

Sommer D. Luther, an award-winning trial lawyer with decades of experience in personal injury and advocacy through legislative reform.

A team of seasoned litigators and professional staff who understand what it takes to win large, complex, and emotionally demanding cases
