Benjamin Gillig is a Senior Associate at Wagstaff Law Firm, focusing on mass torts, class actions, and complex civil litigation. He thrives on tackling challenging cases and developing creative legal strategies to secure justice for his clients.
Before joining Wagstaff, Ben founded a new enforcement unit for the Colorado False Claims Act at the Colorado Department of Law. His background also includes extensive defense-side experience at both a trial boutique and a large international law firm. He began his legal career as a law clerk to the Hon. Jane Kelly of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
Ben earned his J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Iowa Law Review, graduated with highest distinction, received faculty honors, and was elected to the Order of the Coif. He also holds a Ph.D. from the University of Iowa, where his research focused on education policy and quantitative analysis.
