Attorney Tara Doyle is a dedicated and experienced advocate for victims of sexual assault. After a brief stint in tech, she pursued law to focus to establish a career advocating for victims of sexual abuse.
Before joining the firm, Tara served as a prosecutor in a Denver-metro office where she obtained extensive trial experience. She most enjoyed her role in the Child Victim Unit, where she focused on prosecuting sexual assault crimes on children. There, she utilized vertical prosecution, meaning she assisted in investigations before formal arrests, continued supporting investigations after charges were filed, and handled all pre-trial motions, plea negotiations, and trials.
Originally from Massachusetts, Tara attended the University of Southern California where she studied Neuroscience with a minor in Critical Approaches to Leadership. While there, she worked in labs and for magazines and enjoyed being part of both the USC Ski and Snowbard team and Pi Beta Phi.
When she eventually found her way to Colorado to ski, she enrolled in law school at University of Denver because of its emphasis on experiential learning. At DU Law, Tara's focus was on gaining as much real-world experience as possible. She spent a year in the student practicum as a student attorney, clerked for judges and civil attorneys, and interned in the Cold Case and Human Trafficking Unit at the Denver DA's office which solidified her passion for trial work and victim advocacy.
Tara lives in Colorado with her two sons, her husband, and her dog. Outside of work she enjoys skiing, comedy shows, and concerts.
