2 Billion settlement:  Avandia: Vance Andrus was appointed National Co-Lead Counsel of the Plaintiffs Steering Committee in the Avandia MDL litigation. He led a team of more than 50 law firms against the manufacturer for injuries including heart attacks, strokes and congestive heart failure. After four years, the team prevailed and resolved more than 50,000 cases, including more than 2,000 Andrus Wagstaff clients. Although the individual settlements are confidential, public testimony confirms the total settlements exceeded $2 Billion.
